Why Do Brokers Quit?

June 27, 2019

Myth: Brokers quit because they don't generate enough leads and make enough deals.

Fact: Brokers quit because they don’t build enough solid relationships.

Here’s the thing:

You are not in the boat sales business — you are in the Relationship business.

Do you know the KEY difference between a CONTACT and a CONTRACT?

It’s in the letter “R” and it stands for Relationship.

Over the years, I’ve witnessed countless brokers struggle and many times even quit. But I also observed those who succeeded too. Their secret?

Well, there are two different ways to building a business in boat sales:

#1) Build a business based on transactions.

Or:

#2) Build a business based on relationships
The transactional broker focuses on numbers, getting more leads, pushing product info, and attempts to convince prospects to buy his boats or to work with him.

This approach can be tedious, robotic, and I have seen many burn-out and give up.

On the other hand, the relationship building broker focuses on establishing trust by developing a system for attracting versus convincing. This broker is about “pulling” rather than “pushing”.

So, if you’re intent on becoming a successful broker, you have two choices:

Option 1: Focus on transactions.

Option 2: Focus on relationships.

And so, this begs the question: What’s the best way to build relationships?

Well, I’ve spent over a decade and 30,000+ hours trying to answer this question. Years of research analyzing the best possible approaches tailored to boat sales. The outcome? As far as I know, I engineered the first, and most complete system adapted to building relationships in boat sales. Profitable relationships. Consistently.

A system which — if you apply it correctly — regularly transforms contacts into the relationships which result in contracts.

So you have 2 options now.

You can do what I did and discover it on your own after thousands of hours of research and trial and error… OR you can get this system and framework from me, today.

I will be opening a few seats this week to a select few of brokers… so if you are extremely motivated… and you have made the commitment to become a highly-paid professional in boat sales…

… then just reply “I AM IN” and I’ll send you more details to see if it would be the right fit for you.

To your success!
